The Natural State Brass Band travelled to St. Charles, Illinois, March 11-12, 2005, to compete in the North American Brass Band Association Championships. Music selections included "Partita on St. Theodulph" by Kevin Norbury and the test piece "Music for a Festival" by Philip Sparke. The weekend concluded with a gala concert by the Chicago Staff Band of the Salvation Army.
